How I Support You
You don’t have to navigate this on your own.
My work is grounded in public health, mental health, and years of walking alongside individuals and families through times of change. Whether you’re adjusting to life with a new baby, carrying the weight of caregiving, or feeling stretched in ways that are hard to name, I offer space that is thoughtful, steady, and responsive to your needs.
Support doesn’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming. Many people come simply because they want steadier footing during life transitions, caregiving, or early parenthood.
Here are some of the areas I support:
Support for New Parents
The transition into parenthood can be tender, overwhelming, and everything in between.
I support new parents in navigating:
Emotional adjustment and identity shifts
Anxiety, mood changes, and overwhelm
Feeding, bonding, and early relationship development
Making sense of conflicting information and expectations
This is a space to slow things down, ask questions, and find your footing in a way that feels right for you.
Support for Caregivers and Helping Professionals
Caring for others—whether children, aging parents, loved ones, or in a professional role —can be meaningful, but also demanding in ways that are often invisible.
Together, we can explore:
Burnout, stress, and emotional fatigue
Boundaries and capacity
Navigating complex systems (healthcare, education, community supports)
Reconnecting with your own needs and wellbeing
Support here is practical, reflective, and grounded in your real life.
Clinical Sleep Support (CBT-I)
I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) for adults, typically through referral from sleep clinics or healthcare providers, although self-referral is also welcome.
This structured, evidence-based approach supports individuals experiencing persistent sleep difficulties, including:
Difficulty falling or staying asleep
Chronic insomnia
Sleep-related anxiety
If you have been referred for CBT-I, or are exploring whether this approach may be appropriate, you can learn more below.
Support Through Times of Uncertainty or Life Transitions
Sometimes life can feel uncertain. Even expected changes can feel disorienting or harder than anticipated.
This may include:
Returning to work after leave
Career or identity shifts
Changes in health or family roles
Preconception or fertility
A general sense that things feel "off" or unsettled
This space offers room to reflect, process, and move forward with greater clarity and steadiness.
When You Need More Support
At times, things can feel more intense, persistent, or overwhelming.
If you’re experiencing:
Ongoing distress that isn’t easing
Difficulty functioning day-to-day
A sense that you may need more structured or specialized care
We can talk together about what level of support would be most helpful, and whether this space is the right fit—or help connect you.
